This page describes what happens to your data when you use Tax Refund Calculator. The short version: the calculator itself collects nothing, and the only personal data the site ever sees is what you choose to type into the contact form.

The calculator

The tax year, country, income, tax paid and any reliefs you enter run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into the calculator is sent to this site, stored, or shared with anyone. Closing the tab or reloading the page clears it.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views without cookies, without any persistent identifier, and without tracking you across other sites. It reports aggregate numbers only — page views, load times, and country-level location — not anything tied to you individually.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own, and does not use any advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking scripts.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are sent as an email to the person who runs this site, using Cloudflare's own email-sending infrastructure. That message is not stored in any database — it exists only as an email in the inbox it's sent to, the same as if you'd emailed directly. It's used only to reply to you and is not shared with anyone else or used for marketing.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which processes standard web request data (such as IP address) to serve pages and protect against abuse, in line with Cloudflare's own privacy practices. This site does not access or retain that data itself.
